THINGS TO DO
Digital Skills Academy
Digital courses including coding, cyber security, and Digital Athletes programmes for children and young people in Gibraltar.
About
Digital Skills Academy is part of the Gibraltar Digital Skills Foundation and is designed to help bridge the gap between education and industry. The wider goal is to close the gender, skills, and technology gap through community-led digital education.
For school-age children and teens, the clearest route in is the Youth Development offer. That includes Codeclub for years 3 to 6, CodeLab for years 7 to 9, Python Essentials for years 10 to 13, plus CyberCenturion, Google's IT Security course, and the iDEA Award.
So this one feels more like a structured digital-skills pathway than a single casual tech class. It is a useful option if your child is interested in coding, cyber, or practical technology skills and would get more from a focused programme than a generic after-school activity.
